• Radu has been coaching tennis for over 18 years and has worked with children and adults at all levels. He has coached many ranked juniors at the provincial, national and  international levels to beginners without tennis experience. He has also coached adults that vary in skills from beginner to advance.

• Previously, Radu was the Director of Tennis at Toronto Tennis City (ACE Academy) from 2022-2024 as well the Director of Tennis at Tournament Park Tennis Club for 9 years (2014-2022) a community club with 600 members in the heart of Toronto.

• Presently since the spring of 2023, Radu has been the Senior Tennis and Pickleball professional at Oakdale Golf & Country Club.

• In the past eight years, Radu has managed and coached professional athletes on professional tours including ATP, WTA, Challenger and Futures tours.2

• Radu is part of The WTA (Women’s Tennis Association) Coach Program as an official registered WTA Coach. WTA Silver Level Coach. WTA is the principal organizing body of women’s professional tennis.

• Radu had the privilege to coach at the 2018 Roland Garros Grand Slam (Elitsa Kostova). Worked with Mihaela Buzarnescu at the 2018 Australian Open. Coached Elitsa Kostova WTA (WTA career high 130) during the 2017 Indian Wells BNP Paribas Open. Claro Open Bogota WTA tour 250-2018 and Tevlin Challenger (Doubles Finalist) 2018. Coached Valentini Grammatikopoulou (WTA career high 143) at the National Bank Open 2022 (Toronto) as well supporting her during her Singles title Win at the WTA Vancouver 125k (2022 edition).

• Radu is also a registered WTA Tennis Agent.

• Radu has played junior tennis and was a former OTA (Ontario Tennis) top 25 ranked player. He also competed in numerous adult tennis tournaments and played Varsity level soccer for Dalhousie University.

• Radu has certifications in Coach 1 (Club Pro 1), CP2 (Club Pro 2 professional) and CP3 (Club Pro 3). He is part of a selective group of 31 coaches in Canada that have the Club Pro 3 certification. He is also certified as a Cardio Tennis Professional by (OTA – Ontario Tennis) plus Wheelchair Tennis Certification (Tennis Canada). PTR Certified.

• Radu possesses a Bachelor of Arts degree from Dalhousie University and a Post Graduate Diploma in Sports Business Management from the University of Ontario – Durham College.

• 8 years of hitting partner experience for top Canadian juniors.

• Currently enrolled in Tennis Canada’s Club Pro 2 Certification. .
